The Lion is a short film about a young man’s efforts to bridge the gap between his American and Japanese cultural heritage.

In search of high quality content to demonstrate the value of their new product lineups, Sharp USA and RED Digital Cinema had sponsored an international 4K film contest. Out of hundreds of entries from around the world, The Lion was awarded the grand jury prize and has served as a valuable promotional piece for Sharp USA and RED Digital Cinema 4K products.
